Randy

I went back and looked at the pictures of us from London a few days ago and I had to laugh. We look so pale and nerdy and clean-shaven (i.e. just like we had undergone a Dartmouth winter). Now as I look at us tanned, hygienically challenged, and still nerdy, it’s struck me how different this term’s been from any other one I’ve had. I can’t even begin to wrap my head around all the cool places we’ve been. It’s such a different experience seeing everything in person rather than reading about it in Reed Hall. While I admittedly had my moments when I cursed the fourth quiz of the day or yet another greasy souvlaki for dinner, I have to admit that I’m really glad I’m going back to something exciting like sophomore summer (instead of, say, another Dartmouth winter), because I really don’t see how this trip could’ve been any better.
