Every time I had more than one day free I ended up putting off all my work by reading. For the first ISP period, it was The Body Artist by Don Delillo, which freaked me out, then the stories of Eva Luna, which got me to read Arabian Nights. Arabian Nights was alright, but I feel that the unabridged version must have a lot more to offer. That was my free day in Delphi when I should have gone to the site or read Pausanias. At some point I actually found an Elle to read, which I savored over a few days. For the next ISP period I started off reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, which was a great book. I basically read it straight through then finally read Pausanias and my paper started to make sense. And now I am halfway through someone else’s copy of About a Boy and will probably reread Harry Potter on the plane back. Overall, the trip was awesome.
