Do not touch the bulb or its housing when the light is on. Do not change the discharge tube yourself. Ask your TA to do it when you are ready. Ultraviolet Light Ultraviolet light can damage your eyes, but safety goggles efficiently block UV wavelengths. Do not remove your safety goggles at any time while you are in the lab.
