Titration
Goals
In this experiment, you will examine the acidity of your coordination complex's water ligand. You will determine the acid dissociation constant, Ka, of the complex by titrating it with base.

Key Questions
Here are some important questions to think about before, during, and after this week's experiment.

What is the acid dissociation reaction of the cobalt complex, when it acts as a weak acid in aqueous solution?

What is the reaction between the cobalt complex and strong base, used in the titration?

What information does the titration curve give you about the colbalt complex? What information does the end point give you?
