Acids and Bases
Concentrations used are dilute and do not pose significant hazards.

Eye Protection
Always wear goggles in the laboratory and do not remove them until you leave the room. Goggles do not provide eye protection when worn on the forehead.

Waste Disposal
All cobalt-containing solutions should be placed in the labeled waste drums. Excess NaOH titrant can be disposed of down the drain.
