V-Week is Dartmouth's yearly campaign in late February to end violence against women. The week is coordinated by students involved along with the CGSE staff. To get involved in planning and coordinating V-Week, contact the CGSE Staff or blitz CGSE. Students, staff, faculty, and community members are invited to participate in the annual community performances of Vagina Monologues and Upstaging Stereotypes. Audition information will be sent to campus via D2U and you can contact the CGSE for a copy of the audition script. Additionally, V-Week has traditionally included a broad spectrum of programs, including Speak Out, Cindy Pierce Comedy Show, Link-Up's Proud to Be a Woman Dinner, One Billion Rising, a Global Violence panel discussion, and Mental Self-Defense. If you have ideas for an event you'd like to see as part of V-Week, we welcome your input!
