Title: Men's Project Student Coordinator, Center for Gender and Student Engagement
Reports to: Kyle C. Ashlee, Director - Center for Gender and Student Engagement
Description: This is a part-time (8 hours weekly) programming position. Under supervision, the Student Coordinator will assess the needs of the Dartmouth community around issues of gender and develop educational programming and outreach efforts to meet those needs.
Responsibilities: Serve as the primary student connection for the CGSE
Actively collaborate with other campus leaders (CDs, UGAs, Greek Programming Chairs, other campus interns/organizations, etc.), faculty and staff to schedule educational programming events and evaluation
Assist supervisor in developing program publicity and public relations efforts for all CGSE programs
Plan and execute CGSE community events, awareness weeks, etc.
Attend a weekly one-on-one meeting with supervisor
Other duties as assigned
Additional Information: The Men's Project student Coordinator will focus on educational programming and outreach, including Upstaging Stereotypes, White Ribbon Campaign and Sexual Assault Awareness Month programming.
Please note hours may vary throughout the term. The CGSE Men's Project Student Coordinator must remain in good academic standing each term of their appointment and may not take more than three courses per term.
Dartmouth undergraduate student
Must be able to commit to working fall, winter and spring terms
Have a strong interest in gender related issues
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Creativity, initiative and project management follow through
