White Ribbon Day at Dartmouth 2001

The White Ribbon symbolizes a man's pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about sexual assault against women. By signing a pledge and wearing a white ribbon, men join the effort to actively prevent sexual violence at Dartmouth and beyond.

Live music and good food provided a lively background as students gathered to consider their roles in sexual abuse education and prevention. We more than doubled the number of pledges signed by male students and distributed many ribbons at Collis and outside the football stadium as fans arrived.
