The Internship and Practicum Program (IPP)trains young and energetic individuals entering the field of public health.  PAHO interns/volunteers are matched with technical or administrative programs and placed in either PAHO Headquarters in Washington DC, PAHO Country Offices, as well as the Pan American Centers in the North and South America or in the Caribbean region. Deadline: November 15, 2012    The U. S. Department of State CLS Program provides fully-funded group-based intensive language instruction and structured cultural enrichment experiences for 7-10 weeks for U.S. citizen undergraduate and graduate students. 6) International Trade – Texas – Economic Development International INTERN:

The City of San Antonio, TX is seeking an Economic Development Intern for their International section and will focus on bringing new investment and new companies to San Antonio.  Assist with international business development. Collects and organizes research data on trade flows, FDI flows, targeted industries and companies. Assists with scheduling and planning of department meetings. May assist with performing analyses and prepare data for reports. May assist in the coordination, administration and/or monitoring of specific programs. 8 ) Columbia – Social Finance Enterprise – INTERN: 

Instiglio, Inc., (www.instiglio.org) is a young non-profit social enterprise started by alumni of Dartmouth College and Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Instiglio is the first and only social finance intermediary to apply the innovative Social Impact Bond (SIB) model to developing countries. Work out of Instiglio’s office in Medellín, Colombia, with occasional travel to Bogota and on field visits. Liaise with Instiglio’s stakeholders in the government and nonprofit organization. Conduct cost-benefit analysis of Instiglio’s proposed social program in Colombia.
