1.      Environmental Protection Agency Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) – FELLOWSHIP (Nationwide) Are you a sophomore or junior studying Environmental Studies? The EPA is awarding 40 new fellowships.  Receive up to $20,700 per year of undergraduate study and $6,800 for an internship at an EPA facility during the summer junior year. 2.      National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) – FELLOWSHIP (Nationwide) The Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship Program provides funding to increase training in oceanic and atmospheric science, research, technology, and education. Money is provided for up to two academic years (Junior and Senior) as well as a paid internship with NOAA. http://1.usa.gov/SPJs6D

3.      WorldWatch Institute – INTERNSHIP (Washington, DC)
Serve as an integral member of WorldWatch’s Climate and Energy team. Intern priorites range from building and analyzing low-carbon development scenarios for low- and middle-income countries to contributing to our economic modeling work, estimating Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) as part of Sustainable Energy Roadmap projects for Caribbean countries. http://wapo.st/QR4pBH

4.      Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association – INTERNSHIP (Washington, DC)
Policy & Communications Intern. Gain hands-on experience in energy, environmental and technology communications, marketing and public policy. Be a part of a small, hardworking team in a campaign atmosphere. Your work will range from attending congressional hearings and briefings to grass roots outreach, research and writing items for publication. A travel stipend will be provided.

5.      The Nature Conservancy – SUMMER INTERNSHIP (Richmond, VA)
Help TNC build a broader constituency for conservation, and reach and engage audiences new to TNC and young professionals in our target markets. Travel to public TNC preserves, interview conservation staff, and write about and capture on film what you see. 6.      Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) – INTERNSHIP  – VOLUNTEER (Massachusetts) Receive education, training, hands-on experience, supervision, and networking opportunities. Opportunities may include participation in statewide conferences, trainings, and/or workshops. 7.      Environmental Protection in the Caribbean (EPIC) – INTERNSHIP – WINTER (St. Maarten, Caribbean) Provide interactive presentations and field trips to primary and secondary school students about the importance of environmental issues. 8.      Environmental Law Institute – INTERNSHIP (Washington, DC) Support the research and publications departments of the Institute, working directly with staff attorneys, editors, scientists, and economists on projects ranging from biodiversity and air quality to international environmental policy. http://bit.ly/UHk6iz
