Browse through press releases and content on organization’s website and go beyond yesterday’s conversation in your follow-up: What piques your interest about the company and especially excites you about their work? Demonstrate that interest.
It may seem like employers are in a buyer’s market — and that they get to do most of the selection decisions. But, ultimately, you get decide where you want to work, too. And until you show them — they can’t gauge how very interested you are.
