1) State Dept. – INTERNSHIP DEADLINES:

2) Teach for China – POST GRAD:

2-year teaching fellowships in China’s most indigent rural schools. (The only program in China collaborating with Teach For All’s global network, a Teach For America affiliate).  *First Deadline:  SEPT. 23  http://bit.ly/OilS5T

3) $$ Funding for Study Abroad

The Boren Scholarship supports study in Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East, enabling you to add important international and language components to your education. Boren Scholars and Fellows are interested in studying less commonly taught languages, including but not limited to Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Swahili. Undergraduate students can receive up to $20,000. 4) European Economic and Social Committee Traineeships (5 mos.) – POST-GRAD

Work in Belgium with a mentor in, carrying out research in a particular area, and in evaluating economic, financial and technical cooperation projects and programmes and drawing up records of meetings. http://bit.ly/R9NuYv *SEPT. 29     (For a Feb –July experience)

5) American Australian Association – INTERNSHIP:

The Association promotes ties across the Pacific through its corporate, education, and social and cultural programs. 6) Luce Scholars Program – (1yr.) Intern in AsiaPOST-GRAD:

Placements (individually arranged based on interest) can be made in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. 7) Trade – U.S. Commercial Service – International Locations for INTERNSHIPS:

8) London ­ Mountbatten Institute Internship Program (1yr.) – POST-GRAD:

9)Washington Office on Latin America – INTERNSHIPS:

WOLA promotes human rights, democracy, and social justice by working with partners in Latin America and the Caribbean. Interns collaborate on a mix of research, analytical, and administrative work and are assigned to various programs—communications or one of many policy areas.
