3. NBC Universal; Tim Russert Fellowship (DC)

The Tim Russert Fellowship will be awarded graduating senior interested in pursuing a career in political journalism. The Fellowship is a one-year, paid position in the NBC News Washington, D.C. bureau. Work on a rotational basis in several areas of the Washington Bureau including “Meet the Press” and the NBC News Political Unit. 6. Carnegie Endowment for International Peace; Research Assistant, U.S. Role in the World (DC)

Full-time research assistant position available for 18 to 35 hours per week in the Carnegie Endowment’s U.S. Role in the World Program. Contribute to a forthcoming book about the National Security Council during the Obama administration. The candidate will also provide administrative and clerical assistance to the Economic Strategy Roundtable series. Responsibilities include writing thoughtful research papers, reaching out to roundtable invitees, coordinating meetings among senior-level officials, staffing conferences and writing succinct event summaries.
