Conference Opportunity – The Texas Exception: Lessons from the Lone Star State in Leading the Economic Recovery

Following is excerpts from an email received at the Career Services Office – Please note:  Application Deadline for the Conference is JANUARY 1, 2012!

My name is Thomas Senecal, and I am a sophomore at Princeton University. I’m involved with Princeton’s Business Today, an independent, student-run non-profit founded by Steve Forbes when he was a Princeton undergrad with the goal of bridging the communication gap between business leaders and college students.  ….

Another of our most well-known events, our annual Texas Conference, is coming up this February and we’re looking for more students from Dartmouth this year. For the attendees, it’s an all-expense paid 2-day event held at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, with keynote addresses, seminars and a Business Plan Competition by the leaders of Fortune 500 companies. This year speakers from Halliburton and Sabre Holdings (Travelocity) will deliver Keynote addresses, and executives from companies such as Southwest, GDF Suez, Mary Kay, and DHI Financial will deliver executive seminars.

As I said we’re looking for more Dartmouth students, ….   The web application is at  http://www.businesstoday.org/conferences.

Many Thanks,

Thomas R. Senecal
