The Echocardiography Lab at DHMC offers a breadth of diagnostic procedure and services. In a addition to services provided at the main campus in Lebanon, mobile echocardiography services provide echocardiography services at numerous hosptitals throughout our region.
Routinely performed procedures in the Echo Lab include:
- Transthoracic Echocardiography
- Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) (adult and pediatric)
- Stress Echocardiography
- Exercise
- Pre and Post Treadmill
- Supine Bicycle (Option for hemodynamic stress test , i.e. measurement of oxygen saturation measurement during stress, and non-invasive assessment of pulmonary artery pressure, severity of valvular regurgitation or stenosis)
- Pharmacologic—Dobutamine
- Intracardiac and Intracoronary Echocardiography in conjunction with the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Services
- Fetal Echocardiography
- Intraoperative Echocardiography
- Three dimensional echocardiography - transthoracic (real time) and TEE
- Contrast Echocardiography
