We hope that you will join us for at our Clinical Echocardiography Update course on October 20th. These presentations will be geared toward sonographers and many of the topics that will be presented have been suggested from surveys of previous attendees. The presentations will contain practical information that will improve your skills as sonographers and also increase your knowledge regarding new approaches to analyzing cardiac function.
After this course participants should be able to:
- Complete a basic assessment of left ventricular diastolic function.
- Perform a regional left ventricular function assessment by using myocardial strain and twist for quantification.
- Describe correlations between Cardiac Catheterization, MRI, CT and Echo findings.
- Use analysis of 3D imaging of normal and abnormal mitral valves to improve their 2D scanning of the mitral valve.
- Describe how much fun they had reviewing interesting cases participating in our Echo Jeopardy session.
