The Cardiology Section at Dartmouth is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art comprehensive services in clinical cardiology services, advancing frontiers of knowledge in cardiovascular medicine, and training the next generation of academic cardiologists.

doctors with patientThe Section’s faculty is comprised of twenty-five full-time board-certified academic cardiologists specializing in all aspects of cardiovascular disease providing comprehensive, patient-focused care, and five full time research faculty members. The faculty is assisted by a talented group of mid-level providers and a dedicated group of nursing professional and administrators.

The Section is at the forefront of research in health care and outcomes and in translational cardiovascular research. New initiatives include the Dartmouth Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Center and the Cardiovascular Device Development Initiative.

Clinical services offered by the Section include Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology Services, Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Imaging, Clinical Cardiology Services (inpatient and outpatient services and cardiovascular outreach program), Heart Failure Program, Preventive Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
