Pantila Vanichakarn:
2008-present Angiogenesis Center, Dartmouth College, Dr. John Hwa; Study
how genetic polymorphisms (DNA sequences of prostacyclin and thromboxane
receptors) may be associated with one’s risk for development of coronary
artery disease.
2008-present Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Dr. Nathaniel Niles; ST
elevation MI (STEMI) registry; Analyze the current data from the STEMI
registry to evaluate for efficacy and efficiency of the management of
patients with ST elevation MI and to try to improve care to enhance
outcome of these patients in the future.
Jason Foerst:
MicroCT Evaluation of Stented Human Carotid and Coronary Arterial Segments
Presented at DHMC Cardiology Grand Rounds
Mentor: Aaron Kaplan, MD
Vaibhav Moondra:
1. Safety and Efficacy of placement of Fidelis ICD lead in non-apical sites. Manuscript in progress.
2. Case presentation: Spontaneous deterioration of typical AVNRT to polymorphic VT in a patient with out structural heart disease. Manuscript in progress.
3. Prevalence and potential risk factors for development of pulmonary hypertension in patients withheart failure with preserved systolic function. Manuscript in progress.
4. Single center experience of use of autonomic blockade during electrophysiologic testing in patients with syncope of unknown origin. Data review in progress
5. Development of blood bank of samples of all patients referred to Electrophysiology laboratory for ablations, device placement and EP study. Collect samples from various EP populations (i.e. “lone” atrial fibrillation) and maintain a database of patient and EP study characteristics. Ultimate goal is to identify genetic mutations that may be associated with question of interest and develop model to understand how the abnormality translates to the pathologic state.
