CPHS #: 16168
Start Date: April 2003

Description of Trial: The purpose of this trial is to compare the safety and effectiveness of the FDA approved study drug, clopidogrel, versus an inactive compound (placebo) in keeping leg arteries open after a angioplasty procedure for peripheral artery disease (PAD). All patients must be already scheduled for the angioplasty procedure.
