Alumni Return For Derby Day Event

Bones Gate and DTD alumni gathered in Hanover last weekend to discuss the future of Bones Gate and the post-graduation opportunities available for brothers. A solid turnout of brothers, friends of the brotherhood, and alumni (including, among others, William Mitchell '79 and Frank Fesnak '80) allowed for a good amount of discussion regarding the progress of the construction performed over the past year and the upcoming pledge classes.

In addition to business related to Bones Gate's presence in Hanover, the alumni at the event were able to share insight with the brotherhood regarding their fields of employment and the corporate world. With several classes of brothers starting to think about life after Dartmouth, and a number of brothers preparing for summer internships (including, among others, Miles Yourman '07 and August Kehn '07, who will be working at Citigroup in New York City, and Brandon Carballo '07, who will be with Morgan Stanley in San Francisco), the voice of experience that the alumni were able to offer was well-appreciated. All in all, the return of the alumni was a great success, and beyond the serious discussion, a delicious barbeque was enjoyed by all!
