Upgrade to Blackboard 7 - Performance Dashboard
The performance dashboard is a new tool which gives instructors access to student information in one central place. It can be accessed from the Control Panel.
The information on the performance dashboard can be sorted by any of the data columns by clicking on the white triangle above the column heading. The following functionality is available:
- Review Status: This column shows the number of items marked as reviewed by each student. Clicking on the number will bring up a listing of all items for which Review Status has been enabled, along with an indication of which items have been marked as reviewed.
- Adaptive Release: Clicking the round icon for each student record will bring up a course map, with an indicator next to each item showing whether it is currently available to the student.
- Discussion Board: This column lists the number of discussion posts by each student. Clicking on the number will take you to a listing of the forae in which the student participated.
Clicking each forum title will present the students posts to that forum on one page. Important: We have noticed inaccuracies in the post counts presented through the performance dashboard. We are investigating the problem. - View Grades: This allows you to go to each student's grade list. This is no different from accessing gradebook user information from the gradebook.
