Upgrade to Blackboard 7 - New login process

This change affects both instructors and students.

The login process has been slightly changed for Blackboard 7, to take advantage of the college's new Central Web Authentication. There is now a single login choice, Log in using the Central Authentication Service.

If you have a PKI or Kerberos security certificate, clicking the Log in using the Central Authentication Service button will log you into Blackboard without a need to type your username or password.

If you do not have a PKI or Kerberos certificate, you will be taken to a web page where you can enter your username and password. Use the same username and password you would use to access your dartmouth e-mail.

Logging out of Blackboard does not automatically log you of the Central Web Authentication system. In order to log out of all services, either click on the Dartmouth Network log off button in the screen acknowledging that you have logged out of Blackboard, or quit your web browser.
