Upgrade to Blackboard 7 - Course menu redesign
This change affects both instructors and students.
The course menu, located on the left side of each Blackboard site, allows students to navigate through the site. The course menu offers clickable text links or buttons which take students to different sections of the site.
In Blackboard 7, a new Detail View of the course menu is possible, which allows users to see the content structure of the site right in the course menu. This should help students locate content in the site more quickly.

Clicking on the plus and minus buttons to the left of the menu items will expand or collapse the corresponding content area. The plus and minus buttons at the top of the menu will collapse or expandall content areas. A link at the bottom of the menu allows users to switch between this new "Detail View" and the traditional "Quick View".
