Computing and Media Services:
Classroom Multimedia Carts

See also: Computing and Media Services, Computers, Computer-Aided Instruction, and Classrooms

Computing and Media Services provides a multimedia cart for use in each of the Biomedical Libraries. Each cart has a Windows computer, a 19 inch display, a combination VCR/DVD player, and wireless network connection.

The carts are intended for small group study and instruction in the second and third floor classrooms of Dana Library and the small meeting rooms in the Matthews-Fuller Library. The carts may be used by student groups in the same manner that the classroom spaces may be reserved; for three hour time blocks as available or by reservation up 24 hours in advance. The carts may be requested for use in Dana from the CMS desk on the 3rd floor, and for use in Matthews-Fuller at the Information Desk.

Faculty and staff may reserve the carts for instructional use following the same policies as for room reservations. See the Biomedical Libraries Web at http://www.dartmouth.edu/~biomed/cms/rooms.shtml#Da for more information.

Evening and weekend use must be arranged in advance with the LRC during regular staff hours; M-F 8am-4:30pm.
