Getting to the 2007 October Conference...

By Car

These are directions to the Hanover Municipal Parking Garage. It costs approximately $15 to park all day.

From the Boston area (~2.5 hours)

• Take I-93 north to I-89 north at Concord, NH.
• Get off I-89 at Exit 18 in Lebanon, NH, onto Route 120. (A sign says that it is the exit for Dartmouth College.)
• Bear right off the exit, heading north on Rt. 120 into Hanover.
• 4.1 miles from the exit, Rt. 120 forks at a traffic light. Bear left at the fork onto Lebanon St.
• Go by the Hanover High School on your left, the Dartmouth football stadium on your right. The parking garage is immediately after Ben & Jerry's on your left (Hanover Parking Facility Map).
• After parking, cross Lebanon St. and follow the signs for Alumni Hall.

From Burlington, VT (~1.5 hours)

• Take I-89 south to I-91 north in White River Junction, VT. See following description.

From New York (~5 hours), southern New England,
and points south

• Take I-91 north to Exit 13 at Norwich, VT.
• Bear right off the exit, and cross the Ledyard Bridge spanning the Connecticut River.
• Continue up the hill (West Wheelock St.) to the top of the hill and to the traffic light in the center of town. At the light, go right onto Main St.
• At the next traffic light take a left onto Lebanon St. The parking garage is on the right after Talbots and before Ben & Jerry's (Hanover Parking Facility Map).
• After parking, cross Lebanon St. and follow the signs for Alumni Hall.

By Plane

The Lebanon, NH, Municipal Airport is 10 miles from Dartmouth's campus. The Manchester, NH, Airport is 90 minutes south of Hanover. Consult your travel agent for more information.

By Train

Amtrak's "Vermonter" service from Washington and New York arrives daily in nearby White River Junction, VT. Consult your Amtrak agent for information.

By Bus

Vermont Transit (802-295-3011) has several buses from various points arriving daily in nearby White River Junction, VT. Dartmouth Coach (603-448-2800) offers daily service between the Dartmouth campus and Boston's South Station and Logan Airport. Call for more information.
