Finding eJournals

Dartmouth subscribes to many journals in digital format, or "eJournals." Many of these journals are also available in print in the Biomedical Libraries and/or other Dartmouth libraries. This page provides links to the Dartmouth e-journals that may be of particular interest to Biomedical Libraries users.

There may be more than one digital version of a particular journal available because Dartmouth may subscribe directly through the publisher in addition to getting the content of the journal's articles through an indexing or compilation service like Ovid or EbscoHost. Often the version directly from the publisher will be the most complete and current, and is mostly likely to allow you to obtain a copy of an article that looks just like the print journal (using a ".pdf" file read by Adobe Acrobat Reader.) On the Biomedical Libraries e-journals lists, try the links to a particular journal in the order listed.

All e-journals subscribed to by Dartmouth are listed in the Dartmouth College Library Catalog just like print journals. For an alphabetic list of all of Dartmouth's e-journals, go to the Dartmouth College Library Website , click on "Search/Browse," then "Electronic Journals" under "Browse by Type of Resource."
