The Help Center offers facts on mental health and disorders, work-related issues, teen violence, family relationships, guides on choosing a therapist, and what to expect from therapy.
Internet Mental Health
An encyclopedia of information on more than 50 mental health disorders. Developed by a Canadian psychiatrist.
Mental Health Net
A comprehensive guide to over 3,000 individual resources. The Self-Help Sourcebook Online is a national directory of self-help groups.
National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI)
Information on mental disorders, medications, and research.
National Institute of Mental Health - Patient Education Materials
Includes patient handouts on symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. Offers condition-specific online self-diagnosis tests, and opportunities to participate in clinical research studies. Some handouts available in Spanish.
