Amazon.com Amazon.com's database
is one of the largest book catalogs around. In addition to being a source for
buying books (plus videos, CDs, and just about anything else), Amazon.com can
be used to identify books and find bibliographic information. It also provides
reviews.
WorldCat
WorldCat (the OCLC Union Catalog) includes over 40 million records
representing 400 languages. The database includes books, periodicals,
magazines, newspapers, maps, computer data files, manuscripts, sound recordings
and any other type of material cataloged by OCLC member libraries. The database
includes records for material from the 11th century to date. New records are
added daily.
