Gaucher

The question was

: We are interested in learning about Gaucher
Disease, specifically type 3. This disease requires frequent
treatment by enzyme replacement therapy which is extremely expensive.
Our goal is to learn a bit more about the disease, specifically
regarding drug therapy and the economics of this rather expensive
treatment.

I searched the 1990-1999 medline database first for Gaucher Disease
(drug therapy, economics, and therapy), then I limited it to english
and human titles. Then I searched for "type 3" and then "type iii"
and finally for "type three" (to encompass all spellings). My final
results were obtained by allowing for any spelling of type three and
english human gaucher disease.

First reaction: BEAUTIFUL. Ryan has aced it. This is perfection.
A thing of beauty.

Second reaction: I can't let the above bit of genius go unanswered.
I have to find MEDLINE references on the subject that he missed.
Maybe I can find "THREE" but without the word "TYPE" right in front
of it.

I tried. I failed.

Excellent job!
