I think I know what you were trying to get at. And if you're happy
with what you found, then all is well. But I found myself thinking
that if the question were just a little bit more precise, it might
help with search-strategy formulation. The "cost" business didn't
work out. Maybe there are other concepts, relating to compliance or
acceptance or delivery or politics or AIDS or socio-economic or
educational status, or boys or girls or race, etc. etc. Just for
fun, I went to the database PSYCINFO and did a similar search. I got
lots of references, a few of which I copied at the end of this
message, for your reading pleasure. This would certainly be a good
question for resources OTHER than MEDLINE, like PsycInfo,
Sociological Abstracts, ERIC (for Education). No, let me state that
differently. In addition to MEDLINE, I'd try these other resources.
The subject is broad, sociological/psychological/educational, etc.
