Reference Librarian comments

I see what you did in set one, a perfectly logical mistake given the
current Ovid interface. "Claudication" isn't really an official MeSH
(Medical Subject Heading) term, so it "maps" to various other terms
which Ovid hopes will be helpful. And then you checked a lot of
them and ended up with a fabulously huge and unwieldy set. At Set
#8, you've got it right. (I don't know for sure, but perhaps all
"claudication" is "intermittent...." ...?)

A couple other points, hopefuly helpful to you.

*Always explode. (To get related, more-specific terms...)
*Usually focus. (To make your topic be "important" in the papers...)
*Forget about that "latest update" business. (You want only one
WEEK's worth of MEDLINE?)
*Don't limit to abstracts. (Perfectly wonderful articles sometimes
don't have abstracts in the computer...)

So, let me try it.

It would be interesting to see the "Evidenced Based Medicine" review
articles. Also, you could limit set#2 to "local journals" or 1993 to
the present or "AIM Journals" (300 instead of 4000 journals), etc.
etc. -- if you didn't want to plow thru 101 references.
