Reference Librarian comments
This one is tricky. There being no specific MeSH term (Medical
Subject Heading) for this, you were forced to just use the phrase.
With some playful fussing around, a really experienced MEDLINE
searcher could find more. I did a few tricks like this:1 : exp *osteosarcoma/
2 : 1 and chondroblast$.mp.
3 : exp *chondroblastoma/
4 : 3 and osteosarcom$.mp.
5 : 2 or 4...and then I get 73 articles from 1990 to present. Also, if this
were my search to do, I'd use CANCERLIT in addition to MEDLINE. You
did a fine job. The only moral to this story is to feel free to ask
for help. The medical reference librarian will frequently have a
trick or approach or resource that you won't be thinking of.
