More than MEDLINE: Resources of Interest to Clinicians
May 18, 2000

As a busy clinician, you might well say "Wait! With greater than 10 million references to published articles in MEDLINE, do I really need MORE...?!" Well, no, you don't need more, but sometimes you do need different. You might need to find a practice guideline, or an abstract of a paper given last summer at the convention. Maybe you need access to BioethicsLine, AIDSDrugs, or a full-text business database. Perhaps you need to determine who has cited the paper you wrote 3 years ago. What's the law in New Hampshire concerning driving with epilepsy? What does "ZENTRALBL PATHOL" stand for? All this, and more.

This Library Grand Rounds was video-teleconferenced to the VA/WRJ (TV Studio, Building 28) and Central Vermont Medical Center.

Library Grand Rounds are a forum for presenting information resources and tools of interest to Dartmouth clinicians. Please contact us biomedical.libraries.education@dartmouth.edu, if you have questions, comments, or suggestions for future Library Grand Rounds.
