Library Grand Rounds

Medical Faculty Development Resources
May 16, 2002

You already know where to find information to help you be a better clinician, but where can you find resources to help you be a better teacher?

May's Library Grand Rounds focused on authoritative resources for faculty development. Joseph O'Donnell, MD, Professor of Medicine, Senior Advising Dean, and Director of Community Programs, DMS, introduced the topic; Biomedical Librarians reviewed resources on the Web (such as Faculty Development: The Problem; or, "I'm drowning in white water!" from the Medical College of Georgia) that can help all of us be effective educators - whether we're teaching students, residents, patients, or our colleagues

Library Grand Rounds are a forum for presenting information resources and tools of interest to Dartmouth clinicians. Please contact Karen Odato, the Libraries' Education Coordinator, if you have questions, comments or suggestions for future Library Grand Rounds.

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center designates this educational activity for up to one hour in Category I credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he or she actually spent in the educational activity.
