Research Guide: Information Resources in Support of Best Practice Outcomes

Link to the bibliography

We will discuss and demonstrate information resources relevant to patient-care improvement projects. We will focus on such topics as quality measurement, surveys, benchmarking, technology assessment, outcomes assessment, policy-making, health disparities experienced by populations, etc. Specific information-seeking techniques will be offered, services of the Biomedical Libraries will be highlighted, and local sources of expertise will be mentioned. William C. Nugent, MD, Professor of Surgery, will frame the issues.

This Library Grand Rounds will be videoteleconferenced to the VA/WRJ (TV Studio, Building 28), the Central Vermont Medical Center, the Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene, and the North Country Hospital.

Please contact Karen Odato, the Libraries' education coordinator, if you have questions or comments or suggestions for future Library Grand Rounds.
