Sean is a very excitable first-year grad student in the Brain Imaging Lab. His passion is in the empirical study of humor. He completed his undergraduate degree in Philosophy at Texas State University-San Marcos and his honors thesis was looking more into the relationship between how we judge our emotions and our sense of humor ( find it here ). He told his mother before he left Texas that he’s going to study the social neuroscience of humor but she wasn’t quite sure what that means. Sean can’t wait to get back to you with specific studies he is currently doing. He is also very interested in chatting about anything dealing with the future of research and/or application of humor studies.
