The last week of summer vacation was spent relaxing in a cabin just a short walk from the Bass Harbor Light House on Mount Desert Island.


The boys loved hanging out in their bunk beds inside the cabin...


Jack liked to call this "land surfing"...


We had tea and popovers at Jordan Pond...

And had a wonderful cruise to the fishing village of Frenchboro
