Obviously these photos of Paris have little to do with the CAR, but they were definitely a part of living as an expat. Most flights between Bangui and the United States were routed through Paris (or least those flights with American flagged connections were), so we ended up in Paris a couple of times during our stay in Africa. What can I say? It is the most beautiful city in the world and being able to spend time there and get to know the city was an incredible privilege.
