Overview:
Bob Burnham is a Senior Research Computing Associate at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He is principally a software developer with experience in a wide range of languages and research tools including: C, C++, Java, Lisp, Perl, Ruby, SAS, Fortran and Matlab. He has worked on a variety of platforms from mainframes to handhelds but is especially partial toward Macs and Linux machines.
Bob is a frequent presenter on topics relating to SAS programming and has two decades of experience building SAS solutions. He also developed the Sensitivity Toolkit with Ken Baker and Steve Powell. The Toolkit is an Excel add-in which brings powerful tools of sensitivity analysis to spreadsheet users.
Bob is the co-instructor for Programming Decision Support Systems which teaches students to extend spreadsheet models with programming.
Experience:
Bob has been at Tuck since 1999. Previously he was a Senior Software Engineer for Fidelity Investments. He has also worked for Abt Associates, the US Agency for International Development and the US Department of State. He holds a Master's from Boston University and a BA from Bates College.
