Summary: This monthly publication is a standard source of international statistics on all aspects of international and domestic finance. It reports, for most countries of the world, current data needed in the analysis of problems of international payments and of inflation and deflation, i.e., data on exchange rates, international liquidity, international banking, money and banking, interest rates, prices, production, international transactions, government accounts, and national accounts. Information is presented in country tables and in tables of area and world aggregates. The CD-ROM version is available at the Baker/Berry Reference Desk; it has data back to 1948.

The Baker Library has a great many federal governemnt data cd-roms located in the Government Documents area. The vast majority of these can be borrowed. You can search the Dartmouth Catalog (do a KEYWORD search and LIMIT the search by ELECTRONIC FORMAT to CD-ROM; you will retrieve cd-rom materials). Whatever was/is available via cd-rom is probably also available via the internet, and the internet version of the data will be much more user-friendly than the raw data cd-roms.
