History of Alpha Xi Delta at Dartmouth

 

April 17, 1893
Alpha Xi Delta is founded at Lombard College when our ten founders attended chapel wearing colors and carrying pink roses.

1902
Alpha Xi Delta becomes a national fraternity when the Constitution is adopted.

January 6, 1997
Delta Pi Omega is officially recognized as the seventh Panhellenic sorority at Dartmouth.

July 2, 1997
Sisters vote at meetings to affliate with a national sorority. They choose Alpha Xi Delta.

February 21, 1998
The colony becomes a full chapter.

November 2005
Alpha Xi Delta initiates its tenth class of sisters.
