VI. Discussion with Dan Nelson - Engaging the Community
	A. How can the administration can best address issues on campus this term?
		1. Administration's reaction to the Parkhurst protest was generally positive.
		2. What can the administration do, more than simply supporting students?
		3. As for the WCI - not willing to agree to adopt recommendations before
seeing them. But students still have recourse if they disagree with the actions taken by the college.
	B. How can they provide more transparency/responsiveness for students on
		internal affairs?
		1. Administrators and faculty are responsible for the rules and regulations of
the college - that is, they have to perform their jobs satisfactorily. Otherwise, the college will sanction them.
		2. Students' ability to engage their administrators can help to ensure oversight.
		3. Wants to figure out ways for lots of student voices to be heard - doesn't think that there is a single student voice, nor is there a single administrative voice. Supports ensuring mechanisms for allowing students to ask questions and get answers, on specific questions.
		4. Getting involved in campus affairs is hard for us, because of the
priorities we have to set. For administrators, however, it's their job....
	C. Student - administration relations have been better when the SA has been perceived to be strong and effective, and worse when the SA has overemphasized political and/or minute issues.
VII. SA Res. 16 - Korean Studies Resolution - Resolution passes unanimously.

		1. The first scale for zone A was $50, $100, $100.
