Ada Cohen also teaches seminars on various aspects of Hellenistic art, on art and gender in the ancient world, and on art-historical theory and method.

Special Interests
In addition to teaching various courses in ancient art, Ada Cohen regularly teaches the introductory class in art history as well as first-year and advanced seminars on methodological and conceptual topics. Her research has focused on the era of Alexander the Great and the impact of Alexander's image and legacy on later art. She has also studied aspects of prehistoric art as well as sexuality and the construction of identities through visual means. Additional research explores the representation of travel, landscape, and childhood in ancient art. She is completing a book titled "Paradigms of Manhood: Art and Culture in the Times of Alexander the Great" and has begun work on "'He pais kalé': Beauty and Women in Ancient Greek Art"
