September 28, 2008 - Sunday XXVI Welcome Back! Faith Focus – this Wednesday, October 1: Faith Focus is a weekly presentation and discussion on important aspects of our Catholic Faith held on Wednesday nights in the AQ Living Room from 7:00-8:00 PM. Special Topics will be considered during the Fall Term and the topic this week is: Give Me Some Wisdom, Stat! What's a Doctor of the Church? There are 33 saints who are called Doctors of the Church, meaning that they were able to live and explain Christian doctrine in an exemplary way. To know them is to understand our Catholic faith better, to be acquainted with its hidden depths and to share in the joy of God's wisdom. Come hear a little overview of this varied group of men and women. Dessert provided. Fireside Mass – Thursdays at 9:00 PM – This is a special celebration of the Eucharist for students, concluding with Night Prayer, followed by social time. Fireside Mass is held in the AQ Living Room. Relax by the fire and celebrate the Eucharist with your fellow students. Graduate Student Movie Night – this Friday October 3 at 8:00 PM in the AQ TV Room: Monsieur Vincent - Come see this Academy Award winning film on the life of St. Vincent de Paul.
