Anteroposterior (AP) elbow  
 

This is a radiograph of the elbow in the anatomic position. Note the following on the film:

1. The olecranon is superimposed behind the trochlea of the humerus.

2. The radial head, neck and tuberosity are partially superimposed over the ulna.

3. The humeroulnar and humeroradial joint spaces are visible.

4. You should be able to identify the following remaining strucutures: coronoid process of ulna, medial and lateral epicondyles.
