MR Angiogram-neck

It is important to know the anatomy of the vessels of the neck, as vascular disease in the neck can affect intracranial circulation. This image was obtained using iv gadolinium as a contrast agent, with a specialized technique allowing the backround tissues to be suppressed.

Identify the following:

1. brachiocephalic trunk

2. right subclavian artery

3. right external carotid artery

4. right internal carotid artery

5. left common carotid artery

6. left internal carotid artery

7. left vertebral artery

8. left subclavian artery
