MRI: Axial leg  

This is an MRI of the left leg at the mid-calf level. With this technique, vessels appear light gray. Note that tendons and cortical bone appear dark in this image, while fat appears bright.

7. peroneus longus & brevis

12. soleus

13. gastrocnemius, medial head

14. gastrocnemius, lateral head

15. posterior tibial vessels
