A Gift of Service

"The world's troubles are your troubles, and there is nothing wrong with the world that better human beings cannot fix."

—John Sloan Dickey, 12th President of Dartmouth (1945-70), at Convocation 1946

Today, tackling the world's troubles remains a vital part of the Dartmouth Experience. Every year, some 1,200 Dartmouth students volunteer their time and skills, providing 40,000 hours of community service—literally 'round the girdled earth.

This gallery celebrates all Dartmouth students who are out there making a difference. It also celebrates you, because your annual Dartmouth College Fund gift helps support this critical work. Hope we can count on you this year. Thank you for your generosity.
