The College's Highest Priorities
By making your annual gift an unrestricted one, you give Dartmouth the flexibility to meet its most urgent needs in Academics, Athletics, Culture and Community (including Tucker Foundation programs and the arts), and Financial Aid. Dartmouth College Fund (DCF) gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends in fiscal year 2009 totaled $38.1 million. It would take gifts to the endowment of $762 million, paying the College 5 percent interest per year, to equate to unrestricted gifts of $38.1 million.
