How to Transfer Stock Gifts

Securities transfers must be received by Friday, June 28, 2013.

Dartmouth College welcomes your gifts of stock. To ensure you're properly credited, each stock gift should include the following information:

  • Your name
  • Name of the stock
  • Number of shares of stock
  • Approximate dollar value of the stock
  • Name of your brokerage firm

Electronic Transfer of Stock

Electronic transfers must be received by Friday, June 28, 2013.

Your brokerage firm may wire gifts of stock directly into one of Dartmouth's brokerage accounts. For details on transferring stock, please e-mail Security.Gift.Processing@dartmouth.edu or call 603-646-3201 or 603-646-2445. Important: please make sure you or your broker alerts the Investment Office once a transfer has been made.
